Ok so some of you may or may not know, I am in the process of relocating... So while I was doing my apartment search, a lot of commonsensicals came about.
For some random reason at almost every apartment I went to, I was asked the same question? What is your price range for an apartment? Umm, if the price of the apartment is $700/month does it matter what my price range is? If I asked for a rent-free apartment, would there be room for negotiation?! I don't know if this is a part of their training program or what, but the question is sooo horribly unnecessary!!! How about you tell me how much the apartment is and I'll let you know if that will work for me.
Moving on...so, on one of my visits I witnessed one of the leasing consultants getting cussed out by a tenant. It was too funny (to me), but I'm sure the other lady didn't feel that way- she called the police. Within minutes the K9 unit showed up. Great police response time (lol)! Great first impression for a potential tenant (tone of sarcasm). Needless to say, I will not be a future resident.
